Description

The vintage inspired Akari dress is a cross between a Kaftan and Cocoon dress.

This Akari dress is made in our French Crepe. Our french crepe has a subtle sheen to it (which makes photographing the exact color a little difficult, so the color may be a bit different in real life). The Akari includes details like a V-Neck, pleated front, dolman sleeves & a cocoon back. Inside the dress, there are strings attached which can be tied together behind your back (under the dress) to create a more fitted look/a cinched waist.

Each dress comes with 2 gussets, one for the neck and one for if you'd like to add it to the bottom of the dress. (If you'd like to see how the bottom gusset looks sewn in, . The 2 gussets are the same size. If you need extra fabric, you can reach out to us after you receive your order).

Fit & Care

This is a One Size dress.

Models are around 5'3" - 5'4". 

Machine wash cold on delicate and then hang dry right away. If you hang dry it right away, you won't need to steam it. You can also dry clean the dress.

The Akari dress was inspired from a vintage find along with some Japanese design inspiration!

Style Tips

Belt it with a Liat belt or keep it loose for two completely different looks.
